Mona K. Gill, O.D.

Dr. Mona Gill combines decades of clinical expertise with a longstanding passion for eyewear and eye health. Her interest in optometry began in high school after her first eye exam, when she walked away seeing the world with new clarity and discovering how eyewear could also be an extension of personal style. That experience shaped her vision of optometry as a profession that unites medical care with the ability to help people see—and express themselves—more fully.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in International Studies with a minor in Biology from the University of California, Irvine, and later received her Doctorate from the IAUPR School of Optometry. She is a glaucoma-certified Therapeutic Optometrist and has been practicing since 2010, gaining invaluable experience in diverse clinical settings with a focus on ocular conditions such as dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Beyond clinical care, Dr. Gill’s lifelong passion for eyewear has shaped both her professional and personal journey. From curating her own optical frame collection during travels around the world to thoughtfully selecting the frame collection offered in her practice today, she ensures that every patient has access to eyewear that balances function with individuality and style.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Gill enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, visiting museums, exploring fashion, and being with her husband, son, and golden retriever.
